Graduated from Saint-Cyr Military Academy, Public Finance Sector (France), Master in Business Law at Sorbonne University and graduated from Leadership and Performance Program at London Business School, in his early career (between 1996-1999), Florin served as executive advisor to the CEO of the subsidiary of Bouygues Group in Romania, in charge of Corporate Governance, Finance and Legal Activities.
In 1999, he joined Société Générale in Romania, as General Secretary of the new subsidiary BRD, where he implemented new Corporate Governance Design, Process and Regulations and steered the merger and the integration into the Group of the second largest bank in Romania. As Human Resources Director of BRD between 2003-2007, he created an innovative HR department and obtained for BRD the “Best Employer in Romania” distinction for four consecutive years.
At the Headquarter of Société Générale in Paris, Florin was Deputy Human Resources Director of the International Retail Banking (2007-2009), in charge to create an integrated and shared services oriented HR Business Line for the entire perimeter of 37 countries and 65,000 employees.
As Large Corporates Director within Société Générale Paris Opera Business Center between 2009 – end of 2011, Florin was responsible for business results, risk management and the quality of banking relationship in France with approximately 30 International groups, different in terms of size (from 200 million to 65 billion EUR of turnover) or industries (energy/ utilities, nuclear, oil and gas services, hi-tech, constructions, commodities, trade, mining, real estate, luxury, retail, media, chemicals, financial services).
During 2 years (2012-2013), Florin was lead advisor at CEO level for commercial banks, working on projects related to the Strategy, Business Development, M&A and HR: the development and the competitiveness of the retail network, restructuring, business modeling, risk policies and process, optimization of the Information Systems, Corporate Finance / M&A and Human Resources Strategies.
Florin was Board Member of Tarom Airways (2013-2014).
During the period march 2014 – august 2015, he worked for KazMunayGas International, as Group Human Resources Director, being responsible for realizing, implementing the HR Strategy and coordinating the Human Resources Activity on the entire geographical area of the Company with 11 USD bln turnover (Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, Switzerland, Spain, France, Singapore, Libya, Morocco).
